Dear Teacher,
I am so grateful for you! You have chosen to speak into the lives of children. They will never be the same because of your commitment. The lessons you are teaching your students will forever change their lives and those in their spheres of influence.
According to the brilliant researcher, George Barna, a person’s worldview starts to form between 15-18 months of age. At 13, it is significantly formed as it undergoes growth and refinement throughout one’s twenties. Barna concludes: “So children are critically important in the study and transmission of worldview.”i In a culture that is targeting our kids at younger and younger ages, we must teach them before a broken world reaches them.
My prayer in creating this curriculum has been to make an easy-to-use resource that will allow you successfully teach children an age-appropriate pro-life worldview. I want to replace the fear of talking about hard issues with the confidence of knowing how to share the truth.
Whether you are a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, volunteer, educator, Sunday School teacher, or just someone who is passionate about life…you can do this! You can communicate effectively and powerfully what it means to hold pro-life values and share them with the world around you. Thank you for helping create a generation of courageous and compassionate Pro-Life Kids!
